Bayley's Camping Resort

Bayley's Camping Resort sits on Pine Point Road in Scarborough, less than a mile from seven miles of sandy beach on the Greater Portland coast. The campground has welcomed guests since 1970, with a mix of Maine-made cabins, rental trailers, and tent and RV sites spread across the property.

Days here run toward the outdoor recreation center's counselor-led activities program, casting a line at one of three fishing ponds (Troy Pond among them), or a round on the nautically themed mini golf course. The Seaside Cafe serves seven days a week, and beach trolleys run guests down to the sand without the walk.

Between the pools, hot tubs, camp store, and golf cart rentals for getting around the grounds, it's built for a full stay rather than a single night.
