1. Information We Collect

We collect information about you in three ways.

Information you provide directly. When you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a contact form, create an account, post an event, register a business listing, or otherwise interact with the site, you may provide us with information such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and any other content you choose to share.

Usage data collected automatically. When you visit our site, we automatically collect information such as pages visited, time spent on each page, the website that referred you to us, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and approximate location based on IP address.

Identity resolution from third-party data sources. We use a third-party visitor identity resolution service that can match anonymous website visitors to their personal email addresses based on browser activity and other publicly and commercially available identity signals. This means a personal email address may be associated with your visit to our site even if you have not signed up for our newsletter, submitted a form, or otherwise voluntarily provided that information to us. If you would prefer not to be identified through this process, you may request to be excluded by emailing support@mainecoastlife.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Send newsletters, event updates, and other communications you have opted into

Our identity-resolution pixel routes its requests through a first-party subdomain we control, which improves identity match rates and helps the service continue to function for visitors using ad blockers or tracking-protection features. Despite the first-party routing, the underlying data flow is the same as a third-party pixel, and you may opt out by enabling Do-Not-Track or similar settings in your browser, using ad-blocking software, or emailing support@mainecoastlife.com to be added to our suppression list.

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some site functionality.

5. Children's Privacy

MaineCoastLife.com is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@mainecoastlife.com and we will take steps to delete the information.

6. State Privacy Rights
