Alice Fromier is a single, unhoused mother of three who has found herself living in Deering Oaks Park. After a series of mishaps, she finds herself fighting with tireless resolve to provide for her family in the face of impossible adversity. The story follows Alice as she desperately tries to hold on to her family while maintaining her sense of dignity against the juggernaut of the legal system - ever stacked against her. While Alice is a fictional character, her story was inspired by the hard and real truths facing Mainers today, where thousands of people are currently living without shelter
