To Benefit Camp Susan Curtis All Inquiries, Info, and Tickets Go Through Camp Susan Curtis (SMAC does not handle tickets or info for this event) This year marks the 10th anniversary of An Evening with Maine Authors at Stone Mountain Arts Center, a celebration of Maine’s literary talent and a Over the past decade, the event has welcomed some of Maine’s most acclaimed writers, including Lily King, Elizabeth Strout, Monica Wood, Lois Lowry, and many others. What began as a gathering of readers and writers has become a beloved annual tradition, bringing together authors, book lovers, and supporters of a great cause. To mark this milestone year, featured authors Sarah Braunstein and Lewis Robinson will read from their newest works. Braunstein, author of Bad Animals and The Sweet Relief of Missing Children, recently published Baby in a Box: Stories. Robinson is the author of the award-winning collection Officer Friendly and the novel Water Dogs. Adding to the celebration, past participants Lois Lowry, Bruce Coffin, Shannon Bowring, and Kate Braestrup will return to sign books, visit with guests, and help commemorate ten years of memorable literary evenings at SMAC.
