Her music has earned her top songwriting honors, including the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and Kerrville Folk Festival’s Best New Folk Award, along with performances at Newport Folk Festival, Mountain Stage, and festivals around the world. Her sixth studio album, No, marks a bold new chapter. Produced by Seth Glier, the record finds Duvekot embracing the freedom and self-discovery that come with turning 50, challenging a lifetime of people-pleasing and expectations of agreeableness. Raw, funny, rebellious, and unapologetically honest, No explores anger, agency, and the liberation of finally taking up space without worrying about making others comfortable. It’s a powerful evolution for an artist whose work has always been rooted in emotional honesty, now delivered with a newfound confidence and refusal to hold back.
