Free Shuttle Bus

The festival provides free shuttle services to and from the festival grounds from the following locations. A bus arrives at each location approximately every 30 minutes.

• South Elementary School: 30 Broadway, Rockland, ME

• Oceanside High School: 400 Broadway, Rockland, ME

Check days for detailed schedule:

• Wednesday: 11 am – 10 pm

• Thursday and Friday: 8:30 am – 11:30 pm

• Saturday: 8:30 am – 9 am & 12 pm – 11:30 pm

• Sunday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm

Bus arrives at each location approximately every 20 minutes. Saturday morning shuttle service will be limited due to the parade. *Shuttle will not be running approximately 9 am – noon Saturday, Aug. 1.

79th Annual Maine Lobster Festival Opens!

King Neptune and his court, along with the 2025 Maine Lobster Festival Delegate, arrive on the main dock from the briny deep courtesy of the USCG to raise the flag and officially open the 79th Maine Lobster Festival. Flag raising ceremony will take place at the flagpole by the Harbor Master’s building.

The food tent and Lobster Cafe open to serve fresh Maine lobsters and other seafood.

Paddy Mills, Food Tent

An award-winning folk singer/songwriter whose songs are as salty as the Maine coast he calls home.

Noon to 12:30 pm

Neptune Returns Monument Unveiling, Main Stage

The King Neptune statue, previously destroyed during winter storms, has been rebuilt and cast in bronze. Local artist and sculptor Richard Johnson has dedicated the monument to the Maine Lobster Festival in honor of long-time festival volunteer Alice Knight. Once arriving at the festival, King Neptune will unveil the monument.

Richard Johnson, Main Stage

Local Artist, Sculptor, Singer, Songwriter. Richard and his guitar deliver down-home Americana music. Songs about Neptune, Mermaids, Tall ships and Family.

1:30 to 3:00 pm

Aaron Simmons, Main Stage

An award-winning country artist, Aaron Simmons blends small-town storytelling with high-energy vocals that have earned him a loyal nationwide following.

3:30 to 5:00 pm

Ali Warren, Main Stage

Singer-songwriter/ guitarist. Her vocals are smooth and soulful. Ali plays a mix of originals and classic covers. Every song she sings sounds like they were meant for her to sing.

6:30 to 8 pm

2026 Maine Lobster Festival Delegate Award Ceremony, Main Stage

The Maine Lobster Festival Delegate will be chosen along with a runner-up and Most Congenial. Winners receive cash prizes and represent the Maine Lobster Festival and Maine’s lobster industry at festivals and events throughout the year.

8 to 9:30 pm

Creatures of Habit, Main Stage

A local band known for their eclectic mix of rock and folk covers that always get the crowd moving.
