Praised by legends including Merle Haggard and Marty Stuart, Hensley has collaborated with artists such as Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Taj Mahal, and Tommy Emmanuel, earning a reputation for his extraordinary guitar playing, soulful vocals, and masterful songwriting. An invitee to Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, Hensley continues to push the boundaries of roots music.
