What began in 1965 as a local clambake has grown into one of Maine’s largest free-admission festival, drawing more than 85,000 visitors each year. Behind the scenes, hundreds of volunteers work together to create a weekend full of food, entertainment, and meaningful community impact.
The Yarmouth Clam Festival takes place every summer, starting on the third Friday in July in the charming coastal village of Yarmouth, Maine. This New England summertime tradition draws visitors from all over the country who come to enjoy the parade, carnival, music, events and competition, and of course, the delicious food!
